Syniverse Carrier President Appointed to CTIA Board of Directors
TAMPA, Fla. – Oct. 29, 2020 – Syniverse, the world’s most connected company, today said John McRae, President of its Carrier business, has been elected to serve on CTIA’s Board of Directors for a one-year term.
In this role, McRae will work with other industry leaders to identify and advance the priorities of CTIA, an organization that advocates at all levels of government for policies that foster the continued innovation, investment and increasing economic impact of America’s wireless industry.
McRae has built a career that includes more than 30 years of leadership positions for various mobile, financial services and consulting companies. Prior to his current role, McRae served as Syniverse Group Vice President and General Manager of Operations for EMEA and Asia. In that role, he oversaw all Syniverse business operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He also served as Group Vice President, Portfolio Management, responsible for the management of Syniverse’s overall portfolio of products and solutions, and served as Group Vice President, Revenue and Connectivity Management and Chief Information Officer, among other senior roles.
Syniverse has been an active member of CTIA for more than 30 years. In a recent “CTIA Member Spotlight,” McRae shares what CTIA membership means to him and how he sees the industry evolving in the next few years.
