Since joining Syniverse in March, I’ve had a fast-moving year in which we’ve begun reimagining a new Syniverse to better serve our customers in an exciting new era of digital transformation. And at Mobile World Congress Americas next week, the new Syniverse will be on full display.
Highlights you can expect to see at the show include a new exhibit at our booth (number S.2546) called the Syniverse Innovation Theater. We’re really excited about this. We’ll be showcasing presentations from our experts on a host of topics, including 5G, IoT, Rich Communications Services (RCS) and messaging business monetization. If you’re coming to Mobile World Congress Americas, please schedule a time with us to find out more, and check out our Innovation Theater schedule to find the sessions most relevant to you.
I’m also excited to be a part of the official Mobile World Congress Americas agenda as a panelist at a session titled “4G to 5G Transition.” The panel will feature leaders from Deloitte, Intel and Nokia, just to name a few, and we’ll be examining the buildup for 5G and the important role that current technologies will play in not only the physical rollout of 5G networks, but also in the development of the business models and core technologies that will go into 5G. The session is on Sept. 14, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m., at Concourse Hall Room 151. I hope you can stop by to catch our 5G discussion.
Finally, on Sept. 13, from 3 to 5 p.m., we’re excited to be hosting a cocktail reception at our booth that will celebrate a special event in our company’s transformation to a technology leader repositioned for the internet of things, 5G, RCS, blockchain, artificial intelligence and other next-generation technologies. Today’s rapidly evolving mobile and internet landscape requires an experienced guide, and Syniverse has been serving as this guide and figuring out complex connectivity challenges since the dawn of the mobile industry. At the reception, we’ll unveil our latest step in this effort. Please join us by registering on our page. We’ll share some news you won’t want to miss!
We hope you can stop by to see us if you’re coming to the show, and we invite you to stay tuned for updates from the show right here on our blog and on our Twitter and LinkedIn feeds.
