If you’ve read some of my previous posts, you know that Mobile World Congress is one of my favorite times of the year. This year’s show was no different, with a theme that featured “The Next Element” and how mobile has become a force that is elemental to our everyday lives.
At the show, I addressed this theme when I had the privilege of moderating the Keynote 8 session, “The Fourth Industrial Revolution,” with a distinguished panel that included Her Excellency Aisha Bin Bishr, Ph.D., Director General, Smart Dubai; Allison Kirkby, President and CEO, Tele2; Bob Moritz, Global Chairman, PricewaterhouseCoopers; and Rajeev Sur, President and CEO, Nokia. Together we explored the new industrial revolution now taking shape and the pivotal role that mobile is playing in this, especially in relation to realizing the potential of new technologies like artificial intelligence and the internet of things.
The video segments from “The Fourth Industrial Revolution” have just been made available, and I invite you to check out some of the highlights from them below. It was fascinating to discuss where this revolution will take us, and Syniverse is excited to be playing a key role in advancing it.
